Filter: Select traces on date

This filter allows you to select traces in the event log on the dates of their first and last events.

Availability Requirements

  • The input log is available.
  • The input log has at least one event.
  • The input log has “time:timestamp” as global event attribute.

Configuration panel

At the left, you can select an first date and an last date. You can also select whether a trace may start before the selected first date and/or end after the selected last date. A distribution of the dates is shown on the right. A trace matches if (1) the first event occurs on or before the selected first date and (2) the last event occurs on or after the selected last date. At the bottom left, you can select whether to filter the matching traces in (select them) or out (select all others).
