Using the default settings, the new Xcavation plugin scores 90.1% on the PDC 2023 data set, with a positive accuracy of 88.0% and a negative accuracy of 92.6%.
Using the weights 50, 10 and 5 for fitness, precision and simplicity, it even scores 92.2%, with a positive accuracy of 89.9% and a negative accuracy of 95.0%.
As the winning contribution to the PDC 2023 scored 84.0%, the Xcavation plugin outperforms this contribution for this contest.
This Xcavation plugin is available in ProM 6.13 as the “Xcavate Petri net” plugin. You can either start
- the “Xcavate Petri net (default)” plugin, which will start the Xcavation using the last configured settings (or default settings, if not configured yet),
- the “Xcavate Petri net (user)” plugin, which allows you to configure the settings and then starts the Xcavation using these settings, or
- the “Xcavate Petri net (provided)” plugin, which starts the Xcavation using the provided settings.
