Release 6.13.88 of DiSCover

Today, version 6.13.88 of the DiSCover package has been released. This release comes with an “Xcavate Petri net” plug-in that allows the user to select its parameter values.

The dialog for the new plug-in.

Select thresholds to try

Here, the user can specify which thresholds should be tried. Any combination of an absolute threshold and a relative threshold will be tried.

Select relative weights for metrics

Here, the user can specify the relative weights for the different metrics used to score a discovered net. For the fitness and precision metrics, the original log is replayed on the discovered net.

Select additional settings

Here, the user can specify additional settings, like the number of threads to use for doing the replay (the more the better, but of course the computer should support that many threads), the maximal number of transitions in a discovered net (if a discovered net contains more transitions, it will be discarded), and whether a WF net is preferred (if so, after the first WF net has been scored, all non-WF nets that follow will be discarded).
